So, I feel like I have some dumb questions for y'all but I figure it's better to ask and get some info then to assume and be wrong.

Okay, so I've been interested in getting a motorized bike for a while now, however funds and being unsure if I wanted a two or a four stroke has been holding me back. However a friend of mine found on a four stroke on Craigslist for good price and picked it up for me as a birthday present.

It does needs a bit of work and I'm not sure where to start. I'm including pictures. The bike runs however it needs back breaks, a muffler/exhaust pipe, new/ wider pedals and a cover or new what what I think is the transmission. ( the exposed small chain that REALLY needs to be cleaned and greased).

I also have no idea what the engine is, the markings on it are 'GCHDPHHEQ001' and either 'DHV'' or 'OHV'.

I'm looking for recommendations for back breaks (the front is a really awesome internal disc break) , what to do about the exhaust. I think I have the peddles / crank/ bottom bracket figured out ( but any advise or recommendations would be awesome) . But I am clueless on the transmission. How do I cover that, or do I just full on replace it?

Any help would be loved! Thank you!

Very sure that is the GasBike Monster 80. Look at the tube on air filter.
