S skychair New Member Jun 3, 2014 #1 Subject says it all..... When buying a CID how can you tell the difference between the one that was shipped with your parts kit, or one newly manufactured... that I would hope be an improvement over the originals. any way to tell??????

crassius Well-Known Member Jun 3, 2014 #2 not sure there is such a thing without going to some horribly expensive 'performance' part differences between factory produced CDI units appear to be only cosmetic (angle of spark wire, thickness of mounting holes, glued/not glued)
