need idea's on / behind the seat post hitch , i was going to use this gate hasp ... picture inclose fig1. but it dont fit snug,, any ideas on changing this , or it may be better to use something else ? im going to use an push cart for my ''next'' bike and put a motor on it. I need something to hook my boom to.

i was going to mash the end of an 1/3 inch of c...
i was going to mash the end of an 3/4 inch of Conduit and put it in place where the gate hasp ( hook looking part is in fig 1. another option is this idea in fig 2. but i want to make my own boom it looks like it resembles my gate hasp but i cant see this fig 2. pic close enough to tell- thanks for idea it will go in my folder [
