Need Help Finding A Flashing Light

He had another hit and run in our area. Bicycle and car of course. One treated and released and I think the other was killed. Both hit from behind. At least 1 was hit by the car mirror.

That got me to thinking. This is not good is it? Me thinking has never turned out good! But I digress. I was think of a nice chrome bar across the back of the bike with a flashing yellow light on each end. The length would be the same as the width of the handle bars. Flashing might not be the right word to use. Maybe a strobe. The spinning type light.

Any ideas? All suggestions considered!

a company called knog makes great front and rear blinking lights that work great and are easy to put on and take off, inexpensive as well

I run a pair of Planet Bike Superflash lights on the back of my bike. Whenever they are turned on, cars pass me more slowly.
The dual AAA batteries in them last a long time, too. My batteries are over a year old and just now starting to fade.

I recommend them. They get cagers' attention real quick.
