I need help building a bike. I read that the DIY kits aren't very good. I dont have crazy money I'm trying to do this as cheap as I can but also have a quality set up. I live in the mountains but i wont be riding up and down actual mountains but there are alot of hills to deal with .I want to build an 79cc I believe .I would like it to have be a 4 stroke because from what i have read they are better for torque and hills. But I would like it to go quick also. I would also like to put a torque converter on it also .I can probably find an actual bicycle online for cheap so i just need help buying everything else I need to build this bike .Thank you

Howdy John. Most of the 4 stroke kits are not large enough to just get a torque converter to marry to the engine easily.

There are a bunch of threads on a work around. But what I would suggest first is getting a 4 stroke kit and adding later.

Will give ya time to experiment and spread out costs.

Sorry for late reply. What did you end up deciding?
