While motorbike scouting central Angeles Forest the other day, left foot passed within 10 inches of this diamondback bzzzzzzzzzz bomb, with its head hidden under a small shrub and tail end out in the sun warming up.

Caused me to perk up a bit when I realized that this was not a 3 foot stick or old discarded piece of rope, funny the snake did not sound a peep just flicked his tongue to get a whiff and that was his only reaction.

Went to get an appropriate "shue it along stick, preferably 6 ft. or longer", came back 3 minutes later and snake had slithered off the track and into bushes to parts unknown.............smart snake...............Don
