Mongoose Reuse

I am working on a new trike built with parts from the Mongoose
CX24V450 electric dirt bike. I already built one trike using parts from the Mongoose. I bought a 2nd Mongoose and I am going to build another trike with all the leftover parts.

Yes it does handle very good. I think keeping the battery low and toward the rear helped. It corners very well with no signs of trying to tip over. It has just a rear brake, but it stops very good.

The Mongoose has given me a lot of parts to reuse. I used the rear frame, rear wheel, electric motor, battery and controls on my first trike. I used the 2 disk brakes from the front wheels on my Amped Up Warrior which is detailed in another thread.

That left me with another rear frame, two front forks, motor, battery, one rear wheel and two front wheels. The wheels are 48 spoke BMX style. The axles on the front wheels are too small to be supported from one side so I decided to use the front forks to support them from both sides. Here are some pictures of the design.

Well it is all finished and it handles better than I thought it would. It takes corners at 12 mph with no problem and cruises at 15mph.
