mini moto mountain bike help

I want to put a mini moto engine in a mountain bike. I am going to put the engine inside the frame then take the pedals off the crank shaft and am going to have a sprocket carrier machined to fit the crank shaft on the left side of the bike with a chain going from the engine to the left side of the crank shaft so I can still use the gears on the bike. can anyone see any problems with this?

What size sprocket will the mini moto engine have?
Will you use a reduction transmission?
What size sprockets/cassette do you have on the bike now?
There are some handy gear calculators on this site to do the math to optimize your reduction.
I built a mini moto engine powered bicycle but drove the front wheel with v-belt & pulley...ran strong for about a year or two.
