Metallic black with gold flake

My Uncle wants to repaint his bike but wants a metallic black paint with gold flake instead of silver. Does anyone know of any spray paint that has that? We don't have access to a paint gun so it has to be spray paint. I was thinking another way of doing it would be to paint the bike black and getting a clear with gold flake in it. I have seen clear with metallic flake, but once again, can't find one with gold flake. Thanks for any help.

Yea, I think the clearcoat idea with the flake is your best bet. I would check the dupli-color rack at your local auto parts store, I doubt you find it at wallyworld. looking fwd to the Pictures!!

tried to look around a little.... I wonder if you paint it gloss black... and then from do a light coat of this paint:

VHT SP404 Engine Metallic Gold Flake Paint Can – 11 oz. Blue Paint

then clear coated.... if that would do it?

Well my Uncle got impatient and went with regular black metallic with silver flake. It looks good. There is so much silver flake in the paint we used that the bike almost looks like a metallic gun metal. It's a really cool color. I'll get a couple pics tomorrow.

Many auto paint stores can put paint in a spray can for you. At least the local Evergreen Paint store can. Just FYI
