MB ice, slush, snow, & slippery Winter riding

Here in Northeastern Kansas where I reside, we've had some rather severe Winter storms in the past, resulting in prompting local farmers supplementing their four-wheel drive vehicles using snowmobiles.

Some entrepreneuring farming types with 2nd story balconies and decks, park snowmobiles on deck for easy exit onto snow in winter time.

Saves tunneling from front door through snow drift to exit into front yard.

Pictures of farming family balconies in summertime with snowmobiles parked on them are a bit head-scratching and comical. :)

It's been brought to my attention that some entrepreneuring inventor types have taken summertime tires, and at a tremendous savings, converted them into Winter time studded tires.

If you're not an inventor, DIY entrepreneuring, "fix it" type, probably end up spending $90 to $150+ commercial tire prices.

Some have gone even further adding ski to front wheel and treads to their back tire, sort of a "poor man's" one-person snowmobile concept. :)

Most motorized bicycle users, I would hazard to guess, hang it up in Winter, and hope their cheap untreated ethanol fuel and carburetors will start up in Spring time, when weather's warmed up for pleasant riding conditions :D
