Mag wheels

Has any one ever used a mag wheel for there motor bike ? I know there would be some fab work just a ? I was thinking of trying one.

Rear sprocket installation would be the biggest hurdle if you're planning on mag wheels. The installation parts provided with most kits rely on spokes. A rear sprocket hub adapter might be in your future with the magnesium wheel.
I've not heard of any failures of mag wheels used on a motorized bicycle.

Only person I've seen do it so far was "Slump" of Imperial Cycles. Here's a post of his with some pictures:

That said, I don't recommend using mag wheels on a MaB. Not only are they heavier than traditional spoked wheels, they are also not as strong.

They do look kinda neat tho!

Ok cool just wanted to know alittle about it before trying it i will just stick with the spoke wheel on my build for now thanks for replys.
