lock washer for front drive 10 tooth sprocket chainwheel on china girl motor

loose components somehow stripped some of the interior threads from the drive shaft of my motor, so as i tightened the nut to hold the 10 tooth sprocket, the nut would pass from the threads to the stripped section, not truly tight.

i found this mated lock washer on mcMaster.com
http://www.mcmaster.com/#91074a133/=x7idhz

the two halves together are aproximately 1/8" thick, and keeps the nut out on the "good" threads. the opening in the sprocket chainwheel is .99" or 25mm- so this item fits and provides locking, and so seems better than "just" dropping a washer in there.

i could not find a replacement nut.
both a 3/4" and 18mm drive fit the nut, the shaft is close to 13mm or .51"
-the thread pattern is odd, i tried a bunch of hopefuls, to no avail.

$10ish for 10, so sort of expensive, but i plan to keep building so i bet i have this issue again...
