Here's a couple of photos of what I do.

Mix a batch of PC-7 or your favorite "metal filled epoxy" and smear some on the mounts- photo 1. This helps fill any discrepancy (sp?) where the frame angle may be a little different than the angle of the cast motor mounts.

Lay in a piece of lead sheet- photo 2.

Tighten until the epoxy begins to ooze. Wait 15-30 minutes depending on your epoxy set time and tighten the nuts until the epoxy just moves, then let it sit until it sets up. After the epoxy has set up (I give it 24 hrs.) Finish tightening.
