I got a Yamaha Enduro 60 tank off ebay for $28 incl. shipping. I stripped it to bare metal, bondo'd up the dents and where the tank badges had been. I had some of the fusion for plastic paint so I tried it. I used no primer. I've been using the tank for about a month now and it's holding up beautifully to gas. I was really worried the gas would peel the paint but the tank is shiny and looks pretty good esp since I'm not much of a painter. It has no clear coat at all. The Krylon Fusion paint is really easy to use. Well judge for yourself. Here's a pic. The sticker is from O'reilly.
