Had a buddy with the same type of setup. Tough to get chain tension correct. Found that using the stock tensioner along with a spring tensioner did the job. What’s the story on this one? A Craigslist find?
No just got it from a friend that had it , got it yesterday . I have a BT 100 thats going on it and yes I already have a spring tensioner ready to go . But first paint ! I had a norco full suspension b4 and it worked well till I wore out the rear pivots . But it had a real nice ride !
I bet it was a nice ride, always wanted one myself. Let me know how the bt 100 is performance wise. Might swap out my 32cc for one of those bad boys. Only if power is significantly better though. I have my little weed wacker ported and running an expansion chamber. Probably around 3.5hp right now but if the 6hp claims are true for the 100. Should be a little buzz box.
I just put a 100 on my other bike yesterday . Its not broke in yet but it is definitely more torquey than the 66 I had on it . I dont know bout 6 hp ! Is that what they claim 6 hp ?
That’s what I’ve heard. Do the kits come with 44t sprockets? I mean they claim 3hp on China engines and they rarely come over 2hp without modification.I just put a 100 on my other bike yesterday . Yes they come with 44 tooth sprocket . Just got back from a ride and so far I like how it feels . Not alot of vibration . Strong going up hills ,lots of compression skids my back wheel on start up. So far I'm pretty happy with this motor .
