I've spent about 80% of the past year on Long Island, and have used the neighborhood Starbucks to do my work (I'm a web-developer). Dee Snider comes in from time to time (he lives in the area), and tonight he noticed my bike. He came back in to the Starbucks looking for the bike's owner. Apparently he's quite a gear-head and was really excited about my build. He was driving some $$$ muscle car (Purplish Dodge Charger), and I suggested that I'd let him go for a spin on my bike if he'd return the favor. In any case, he refered to it as a "Rat Rod" and gave me a "tip of the hat". I was playing it friendly-cool...like I didn't know who he was. He came off as a really nice guy...no celebrity snobbery there. He comes in from time to time, so I'll give in and ask for a picture with him on the bike next time.
