I'm looking at getting a jack kit for my 80cc 2 stroke built on a mountain bike.

1. where is the best place to buy the full kit ?
2. what's the appx cost ?
3. What's the best/standard Gearing on the bike ?
4. Does it make the bike go faster ?
5. Is it worth putting a kit on or just use a smaller sprocket ?

1. Sick bike parts. You have to buy the HD kit.
2. $240 plus shipping.
3. Don't know
4. Heck yeah. Expect a 10-20mph increase
5. Smaller sprockets suck. Kits give you a ton of torque AND top speed, small sprocckets take away all torque so you'll be mostly pedaling.

Keep in mind shift kits need more maintenance and they'll shred your leg if you wear baggy pants. remember bike chains tearing your pants? This has much more power. :p

4. Not really. The bike will only go as fast as the motor can push it regardless.
5. No. you lose your engine braking, introduce a whole lot more complexity; I say run a smaller sprocket and read this post:
