I'm building a friction driven motorized bike. Should I keep the clutch on the driveshaft on or off?

Title basically. So if I take the clutch off of the driveshaft and just use the throttle is that not going to work out well for me? I'm still a total Noob to all this stuff. I have done some research but haven't really found an answer if I need the clutch or if I need to figure out some sort of other system.

Motor is little 2 cycle weed eater Stihl.

Cannonball2 is using an older Echo 22 cc engined weedeater for the drive engine, Notice how he fixes the engine drive to the front fork, this isn't as easy as it looks as you will need some skill with welding and fabrication of metal.
