If only there were more MB'ers...

Then we could do this!

Of course, it's been started on a smaller scale. One of our local members had a MB get-together this past June. I wasn't able to make it. But only my death. or something close, will stop me from getting there in 2016.

A rally as large as the one in this video would be large enough to have some disadvantages, too, I suppose. But it would be fun.

I have attended street rod events with as few as five cars and by comparison the big national events where you can see over ten thousand. Hard to say where I had the most fun. Traffic, crowds, long lines for restrooms and food and not getting a chance to see everything or converse with folks are drawbacks to big events. They can still be enjoyable however.

But, the June get-together you mentioned above was hard to beat when it came to pure riding pleasure, friendly interaction and close contact with fellow enthusiasts. There's something to be said for 'small'.
Hope to see you next June and thanks for posting that link. It was fun to watch.

Here's an event I would like to see more of:

I would really like to see something like that in my area. I don't know if there is a class specifically for motorized bicycles, but if not, there should be. Either way I would be in. If I couldn't ride a motorized bicycle I would ride my '74 XL70 or '72 Trail 70, or my '76 Trail 90..shft.

Thanks for the link, FFV8. I've bookmarked that one. They seem like my kinda folks.

I'm trying to remember just where Portland is. And I'm thinking maybe somewhere between Bloomington and Evansville. I hope so. That's nice, pretty, wild country there.

And not far from me at all.
