im new to this im putting the 80cc kit on my beach cruiser. there is a hub brake. do i need to get rid of that and buy a new brake system?? please help. thanks
Are you having trouble mounting the sprocket to the wheel? You don't have to get a new wheel and brakes, the coasterbrake should be fine. Here is a link to a thread regarding the subject, I hope it helps. Dust Cover Modification.
No problem. Oh, if you are interested in having a bit more stopping power, you can also add a caliper brake for the front wheel. Good luck on your build.
