I have finally been able to start riding my bike now that we have some awesome weather (64 degrees). I have been able to get a good idle on the engine but I am having intermittent issues with top end. I am not pushing it too hard as it is still the first tank. According to my digital tach, I am only able to get the engine up to 5500 and it just acts like it doesn't have any more push. A few times I was able to get up to about 6500-6700 before backing off. This was on flat ground with a 56t sprocket, 26x1.95 street tires and a completely stock engine. I checked the valves and I am at .004 intake and .006 exhaust. Any suggestions?
