N nvmextc Member May 19, 2011 #4 I jus unscrewed my cable, it was stuck in tight from heat but I got there, and screwed the new one on.

G GreedyRogue New Member May 19, 2011 #5 Mine was glued in. I tried twisting it out but the wire snapped. I tried digging the old wire out but eventually just cut the housing around the old wire flush while keeping the screw intact. Haven't had any issue yet with this setup.
