I was thinking of getting one of these. Not a bad price.

From what I read it works on both 4 and 2 stroke. 1,2 and 4cyl engines.

From the looks of it, the signal is picked up by detecting a pulse in the magnetic field in the HT lead. They give a good guarantee on their products, so I will give it a spin.

I just installed this one today, and it works like a charm.

Here is the HT lead pick up.

Switch's to RPM when it detects the spark pulse.
One way to tell that your CDI is still going
