I HAVE A HONDA ENGINE WHICH IS LIKE BRAND NEW WHICH CAME OF A DE KIT ON MY WIFES TRIKE.
The engine had the mounting bolt for the friction drive welded onto the end of the driveshaft, i removed all but about the final 1/8 of weld back to the shaft. The internal threads in the shaft are in perfect condition. The fuel line has a knick in it, but a $1 replacement should fix that.
The engine has only had around 1 to 2 hours of riding so i wouldnt say it is even broken yet, can be used with existing 4 stroke in frame kits, or with drum kits.
