Hello out there,
New guy checking in. Old AFM motorcycle racer and now Hot Rod builder has caught the board track motorized bike bug. It started when I read about the Sportsman Flyer over on the HAMB.
I just got lucky and found a old worn and abused Boeing Worksman Newsboy on the local CL. Too bad for me, now the work starts.
My background is in electronics and Silicon Valley, but the hobby has always been going fast on 2 or 4 wheels.
I'm going for a board track build with the Worksman. I've just brought it home and am doing a tear down, deep cleaning and parts inspection. There are some seriously ugly frame welds to fix from a previous motor that was in the frame at some time in it's history, but all in all the Worksman parts are amazingly tough.
