Hello from Mcalester, Ok

New guy here, glad to be part of this. Been riding these things for a year and a half. Have a Genesis 29er with cg, a Mongoose Malus with a cg shift kit and a stretched and lowered trike with cg. Just having fun with bicycles. Would like to be part of an area ride. I really enjoy the trike, now that it has been tamed. Just saying hi.

Welcome from across Indian Territory, Cordell. Sounds as if you've the bike bug fever & enjoying it is appropriate therapy.

Thanks. Glad to know there are others nearby. I am thinking with only three motors with bicycles on them, it wouldn't be a hoard be or any thing like that. I am thinking one more would be just about right. Maybe a OCC chopper. Just thinking....

Many of us started out to just do one or a couple. I built several before joining the forum in 2014 and have completed eight since that time. It's a great hobby. Post some photos of your bike and start a thread to share your work on. It's all quite easy. Best of luck.

Howdy and welcome!

Might check out the Scarecrow Run thread. There's a group that gets together in Illinois for a 75 mile tour through the cornfields. Was a ton of fun!

BTW, I frequent Pete's, Giacomo's, and Lovera's on a regular basis! I'm in OKC.

Well thanks for the reply. I was seeing the IL tour. That looks like fun but probably a little far for me to go. Maybe someone could plan a ride in Ok. Surely we could round up a dozen riders. I think I can drag up 3 from this area. I am just glad to be here. I will try and get some pics posted. Thanks.

Welcome to the forums! We would be thrilled to have you come out and ride the Scarecrow sometime, but if it is a bit far for you...just use the events section of this site to help start or promote a ride in your area. If you have a good route and BEER...they will come. lol Our Scarecrow Ulumni friend xseler came all the way from OKC to ride with us...so I bet you could find some folks around there to come out to cruise at your location. Riding in a large group is a real hoot and not to mention it is fun to see all the different bikes and meet fellow riders. Welcome aboard and keep us up to date on your new motorbicycling adventures.

Well, thanks for the welcome and the invite. Scarecrow does sound like a great time. There is some beautiful country in this part of oklahoma. We have this place called "Robbers Cave" it just seems like it might be perfect for a ride. Maybe some of our bretheren could run with this to make it happen. Thanks again for the welcome and maybe check out my trike over on the "trike forum"

The area your in is quite beautiful, not the wide open rolling spaces we have out west & not what visitors expect to see when visiting Indian Territory. That's for sure.

Post photos and build interest!

Oklahoma has very relaxed motorised bicycle laws. We are in the middle of the country. We generally have very nice weather. We are in a perfect setting to promote ourselves as the place to be. This side of the state has hills and curves, trees and plenty of shade. Over on your side ya got that wide open space to open her up and just ride, enjoy the sunshine and blue skies. Yep, Oklahoma certainly welcomes motorised bikes.

Hello!
I might be a little late, but I'm in Sulphur. I had a 2 stroke China girl, and it was a tough one, but it broke. I'm getting a 4 stroke in a couple weeks. I'm young and still in school, so I might not be able to reach some events, but I like knowing I'm not the only MB around.

Hi Dylan there are a few of us here in Oklahoma that really are into the motorized bikes I'm in Cordell. Glad you're joining us!
