Heavy duty bike chain

I'm going to be ordering a shift kit in a couple days for my bike. My current chain is just whatever came on the bike 10 years ago. Haven't checked it for stretch or anything, but I thought it might be a good idea to get a new chain just to be on the safe side. I'd like to get something a little heavier duty than just the cheap Bell chain at WalMart....would this one be a good option?

I have a 7spd rear cassette.

It says Tensile Strength: 1050kgf ... how can I convert that into some type of units I can understand?

ok after a little wikipedia, sounds like 1050kgf is equal to 7594 lb/ft....that's a lot...
