front motor mount fab on beach cruiser

Just wanted to share my fabrication. Didn't like the looks of the ugly U-bolts provided for the larger tubes so I chopped up a donor bike tube and welded it to the mounting plate and the the bike frame. Looks like i t belongs on the bike now. I plan to putty smooth the welds and prime and paint the entire bike but hard to find the time cuz my MBis my own transportation and the weather is getting warmer. I have probally over 100 Miles on the mount and is holding up fantastic

That will do it. That mount shouldn't give you any problems.

It simply does not get any better than that. Very nice work without burning up your paint.

Thanks guys. Still plan on getting a paint job. I'm lucky I'm a automotive painter and we have PPG waterborne paint system. Think I'm gonna go with metallic silver on the frame. Gas tank, fenders, chain guard and lower half of engine in a large flake metallic bud light blue and the jug in VHT black. I will be sure I post pics
