am start to think about a 30cc leafblower friction drive recumbent bmx. just wanted some tips before i start designing and purchasing parts if anyone has any! thanks and regards

I can't be of much help but there are a ton of threads on em. Rode one a while back for the first time. I was really impressed. Dunno what I was expecting from FDs but was really cool

most important thing when you build in my opinion and there are lots of guys who built more and better friction than I ever did, is to consider the large amount of vibration. That is what killed all my weed whacker builds. I never did figure out how to beat it completely.
