First motorized bike

I'm building a custom single wheeled cargo trailer and I want to put an in-frame mounted motor on the bike that is going to pull it (Jamis Boss Cruiser). I have mechanical skill, but I really don't know anything about differences in quality/performance/value in bicycle motors. The price of some of the kits being so low scared me into educating my self (hopefully) about them since I could not build one myself for that price. I want to do the biggest 4-stroke in-frame I can get and I would like it to be as quiet as possible.

Howdy Beerbatterd; Hope ur bike turns out okay; 4 strokes are the way to go and I wish I had one but I know that I'll get a lot of arguments. I do know one thing for sure and that's that 2 strokes are great for the winter. They'll never burn up.
