Good little project to begin with, but not so great results. The Kent Bayside is complete junk, from missing crank bearings to the bent rims, and the paper thin tubes that go flat sitting in the house. The friction drive concept is great ( I have a vintage Solex that is a cream puff and drives like a new bike), but these rear drive kits (or at least mine) are jenky, I press mine about snugly about .125 inch on the tire and all it does is make rubber dust and about 5 MPH. The Solex has an abrasive to the roller, and does a much better job on a lot less horsepower. This one will go in the tinkering pile. I'm thinking my next MB project will be an in the frame kit, with a hub adapter and a tensioner upgrade, and a decent more robust bicycle to put it on. I have all winter to build something so it should be fun,
