I've got my "CHOCTAW" (sort of looks like an earlier Indian) ready for running but dog-gone it the 41 chain I am losing seems to be twisting just before engaging the rear sprocket and keeps riding off very quickly. Any issues with the 41 chain in the longer frame (about 5 inches)? I'm guessing that maybe it is an Ilder issue but I am setting it up like the deuce bicycles putting the Idler near the pedals to get clearance under the pedal race. Should I be thinking about a second idler closer to the rear sprocket? Will keep fighting it. A friend has just built a very nice worksman regular frame and although he had some initial problems he was able to adjust pretty quickly and now he has a very nice bike, although of course not as cool as the longer loop frame worksman mod, but dang it is running.
Will post pics when I get the new handlebars on....used Wald 867's and added about 15" straight from apehangers, will now cut down to fit. They look really cool and very, very old school.
