engine is very hot.....high idle

my engine seems to be getting too hot. i measured the temp of the engine at around 230 degrees f

what is the right temp for the engine

my idle seems to sound like the rpms in idle are more then when bike is in gear

what could casue these problmes and how do i fix it??

adjust the one mixture screw, your motor is to lean, that will help both problems.
