Engine Bogs down when using throttle

Grubee GT56 80 cc. Starts right off the get go but when ya give er the gas she just boggs down untill ya let up on the gas. I dont get it whats wrong?
 
If running too lean which way do i move the horshoe clip? And yes i store it with gas in it but i drive it every day.
 
may also be too rich. set the clip to the 2nd from the top and see what happens. also make sure you have a clean spark plug too.

what's your oil/gas mix?
 
The engine has about 430 miles on it. ive tried it at all positions on the pin and made no difference. Also has a new plug.
 
my money says it's leaning out because your carb is clogged... its because of the crap ethanol.

I let one of my bikes sit for about a month... I failed to get all the fuel out of the carb before I let it sit. it did exactly what you're talking about for two days until it cleaned itself out.

I always turn my petcock off about a block away from my house so that it dies from fuel starvation. i never have any problems...
