drawings/plans for a friction drive?

Hi,

I was going to buy a friction drive mount from a place called bikemotorparts.com for $130 but they went out of business. The other places selling these kits want ridiculous amounts for them, like $300-$400. Can't bring myself to pay that for a few pieces of aluminum.

Anyone know of anyplace selling kits at a reasonable price? Alternatively does anyone have any plans/drawings of one so I could make my own?

Sounds like a bit of confusion. The Bmp kit was just that, and came with no engine. The other kits you are probably referring to, at those prices, do include an engine. Also, engine quality on some kits differs and Staton, for example, only sells quality engines IE Robin, Honda, Mitsubishi, Tanaka which have 2/3 year warranties. You do get what you pay for.
