Finally time to get a new build going! I chose to do things this way for a few reasons. I had some extra parts and materials laying around and a perfectly fine bicycle with disc breaks on the front wheel. I wanted to do something different and try to build a better bike than my first one.
I fabricated the rear rack and mounts out of 8th in.x1.5inx1.5in flat stock and angle iron, also some slotted/drilled angle iron. I'm aware this may be excessive, but I wanted this to be stong and sturdy enough to push my 300# butt around. Future versions may be streamlined.
I have drawn inspiration from a few different sources on this forum and elsewhere. let's see if I can get the pics uploaded!
