Sorry if this is the wrong room. If it is, please feel free to move to the appropriate area.

I'm looking at a 1951 Roadmaster. It looks to be a Luxury Liner. Good shape, just needs polished up. Does anyone know what it might be worth? I can't find any good resources on the topic online, hopefully someone here can help. Don't plan on installing a motor, just riding and selling eventually.

Thanks in advance.

post it up over at the The Classic and Antique Bicycle Exchange

and get some pics of it.

depending on condition, it could be worth some money. not like a ton of money, but enough to buy 10 huffy's from walmart. and those ten huffy's still wouldn't be as good as one roadmaster luxury liner...:)

Luxury Liners were repro'd a number of years ago, and whether you have one of the original ones or newer ones can make a difference in the value. Having said that, the repros are not cheap either. A quick check of recently completed auctions on eBay showed originals and repros (in new condition) having both sold for the same kind of money - in the $500 range, with some used repros down around $350 - $385.
