CNS performance carb

Just got my new CNS performance carb to replace stock NT carb, seems to be alot more heavy duty. Anyone have one or know if they are any good? Easy to adjust?

There'll be quite a few folks that say you've made a mistake by getting this carb. Well, maybe........

These carbs are a lot more finicky in their adjustments. Be sure to remove the brass plug over the second adjuster needle to allow more tuneability. I also had to change to a smaller main jet size to get better performance.

Good luck in your travels!!

Not an easy carb to tame. No adjustable C-clip like the NT and only an air-fuel mix screw for major adjustments, it takes some patience to work with.

Just because someone calls it "performance" doesn't necessarily mean it's better, faster, more powerful. Performance can mean good or bad. You're going to find that the majority will say you traded good for bad. The CNS has a nasty reputation but there are those who have mastered them, use them and swear by them. Fortunately there has been a lot of discussion here about that carburetor. Use the search feature, type in CNS, and you'll find lots to read.
Good luck with yours.
