i live in the Denver co area and was wondering if ay on knew where i can get the clutch shaft jam nut M14 x 1 locally

Have you tried Ace Hardware. They typically have a good metric selection. The one near me has drawers full of metric fasteners.

been calling the nut and bolt suppliers the m14 x1 is not a standard production nut
