clutch cable

buying the clutch cable is not a problem. 2.50 per is an easy payment for a cable.not my bike having the problem anyway.I told him hecarries too much weight, him and his wife ride double. He has the ports ovaled both intake and exaust.so there's a huge differance in power.maybe 45 mph top end.

Rider weight has nothing to do with a cable breaking. You have another problem. Either poor quality cables or you have something binding. Also if you're trying to use bicycle shifter cable, which some are light duty, that could be your problem. Use brake cable, not shifter cable and make sure you have no sharp bends or kinks and the cable isn't tied down tight to the frame. It needs some slack and flex to work freely.
