Chinese do it again!

It sure looks like a 2 stroke, do these friction kits work very good??, are they front or rear mount?

I asked in another thread about this kit and was told that the motor is pretty awful. More than one person said so, I believe it.

Never cared for the friction-drives at all myself. Simple, but it doesn't allow any sort of ratio-changing (gearbox) setup, and friction is a very inefficient means of transmitting torque. I wonder if it's possible to rear-mount an engine like friction-drive, but have it linked to a chain instead of a roller. Anyone?

I have a staton 35cc subaru friction drive that i use at work to buzz around. Its not as fun as my china girls, but Its very dependable transportation.Staton-inc.com makes a unit that is rear mounted with a chain. Also, livefastmotors.com has a good looking 49cc rear mount chain drive.

80cc China mounted on back,it can be done..
