Good space between the tire and the frame, the perfect space for the chain tensioner

I am at the stage where I need to fab a chain tensioner, but needed to push down the chain away from the bottom of the V- brake boss (I didn't want to start a new thread) and I like your idea. just trying to find someone that has done it and if I should use a nylon wheel or the sprocket type for the chain tensioner. i can fab one or purchase the curve style, i don't think it needs a spring, i will keep searching. a smaller rear sprocket would do the trick but the EZM Q-Matic recommends the 56T, i have read somewhere that they have gone a lil' smaller, but until i find out other wise i do not want my tranni to have problems. more readn'.
Thanx.
