carb jets

thaaaank you, its all coming together now..

You said start from the threaded side & go upwards,

Now if you dont drill the full length of the jet body, how does one know where to stop?
Apply the solder to the top of the jet, not the bottom or where the threads are. The top is where the screw driver slot is. When we say don't fill the whole jet we mean just enough solder to close the hole at the top. There is no need to fill the entire jet orifice which would be the full length of the jet.
Did you watch my video? It shows the process.

Yes i watched it, very helpful & its a simple process. Thanks a lot 2door, I just misunderstood for a moment just because you wrote

"That's why, in my video, I show drilling from the bottom of the threads upward. The original hole acts as a guide to get the drill bit centered."

Then i realized you were talking about using that side AFTER soldering (as a guide, duhh Brandon) ...which makes all the sense in the world aha.
When i get the change, i will buy all the goodies. Until then, she'll be nice & boggy.. Thanks once more
