I may have a chance to buy it. Can you ID the motor, frame, etc? Whats it worth. How much will I have to spend to make it pretty?

Looks to be a Cleveland Welding frame [Roadmaster]. Motor is a "H" series. Clutch pulley looks to be from later motor.

Would estimate maximum value at $1000.00 in current condition.
Running condition but not restored approx. $3200.00
Completely restored approx. $2800.00

Vintage Whizzers are in a class of their own, and owning a piece of American history is also great. And like old Harleys, they can be "recycled" over & over.

Missing parts are available at reasonable prices.
Many vintage Whizzer parts are less expensive than parts for the new edition Whizzers.
There are many QUALITY repop parts available that are impossible to tell from original.
Many NOS parts are still available for motor rebuilds.

If you need information on locating parts, just ask.

Good luck in becoming the new owner!

The frame looked like it would clean up enough for painting. The fenders were chrome, not very attractive to me. The rear was shot, the front was tolerable but...
The handlebars were cleanable. Seat was destroyed. Rear rim was pure rust and corrosion. No belt or guard. Handlebar controls heavy rust. Tires old but had air. Motor turned smooth as air by hand. I could feel compression.
