Both my clutch cable and throttle cable have broken from my 66cc Grubbee skyhawk. Is there something i am doing wrong or can do to stop this? thanks -max

buy better quality ones from a bike shop. good stainless brake cables are cheap. you'll have to solder a new nub on for the throttle.

lube your cables with some good grease. just take a pinch of grease, then pull the cable through your fingers.

make sure they're routed properly, with no kinks.

the nice cables have a teflon sleeve inside the housing that the cable goes through. it's a big difference than the std. cable housing. and also avoid any kinks in the cable, the less bends the better.

shifter cables work well with the throttle cable, as the large knob is smaller than the one for tbe brake.
