Well, here's what I am going to start with for my 4-cycle build. It is your basic Sun Atlas industrial bike, with Shimano coaster rear, heavy gauge spokes, firmly attached fenders and Cloud 9 seat. My dealer added the suspension fork and V-brakes for the front wheel.
I have a Honda 50-cc four-stroke on its way from a member here, and will order the 4G belt drive kit from bicycle-engines dot com. Wish me luck as I am no mechanic by any stretch of the imagination!

Good luck, nice sturdy bike. So question: do the handlebars need to be angled up that way either for comfort or knee space?

Also, interesting that the cantilever design is not achieved using two small tubes, but rather one large tube. Never saw that before.
