bridge rectifier

has any body used a bridge rectifier off the white wire to convert to 6 volt dc and use a storage capacitor to run lights

There have been previous posts about using a bridge rectifier and zener diodes. If I remember correctly, the concensus is that the rectifier might draw too much power and kill your engine since the magneto puts out so little current.

But don't rely on my memory, I'm a gettin' old...
