Best caliper brakes for my cruiser?

I need the best gripping breaks for my beach cruiser. The rims are not meant for hand breaks but I still want to try it. I have thin tires on it so the calipers don't need to be extra wide or something.

I heard alot about the oddesy brakes. Are they good enough?

what style mounts do you have, u-brake mounts?, v-brake mounts?, cantilever mounts?, center mount side pull?
