Another not running engine ????

Sorry guys I did a search but did not find an answer to my question!!!..

IT WILL NOT START {without being forced}

I brought a 2nd hand bike that was not running , Now its got spark I stripped the carb as it was filthy & full of crap .. But it will not fire up ... Now if I poor a bit of fuel down the plug hole it will start up & run for a few seconds ,so this pointed back to fuel/carb etc.. I swapped the carb off my running bike but it still wont start on its own fuel supply

ANY IDEAS CHEERS
 
The kit petcock itself has a filter, and it gets clogged real easily. Check it, or get rid of it.
IMHO, get rid of it and use a universal inline filter instead. I use a nipple output, inline filter, and inline petcock to carb, myself.
