The guy that spray painted my Dyno said "I can run the wires for the lights while I have it in my shop". This was while the paint was setting up. Sounded okay to me.
My right front turn signal quite so I started checking things out. The light checked good. Crap...that meant a wiring problem. WHAT A MESS! When I traced the wire back to the fuse box there were 3 different colored wires spliced together! A black wire went to the positive side and a white to ground. Then I really started checking things. Altogether he had on the positive side: red, black, green, tan and white.
So today I started ripping EVERYTHING out! The turn signals are going to be history this time. It will be very basic. There will be a headlight, tail lights and front amber marker lights. All will operate off of 1 on/off switch.
That old saying "If you want something done right, do it yourself." is very true.
